About Vectra

Australian-owned cybersecurity, since 2001.

Vectra is a pure-play cybersecurity company. We don't sell hardware we didn't design, we don't bolt security onto broader consulting engagements, and we don't hand your 3am incident to an offshore call centre. 25 years operating in Australia, 600+ enterprises protected, one team accountable across the full security lifecycle.

Why pure-play still matters.

When Vectra started in 2001, cybersecurity consulting was a side business tucked inside big-four firms and networking resellers. Attackers evolved faster than the org charts that were meant to defend against them, and customers paid for the mismatch.

Our bet - then and now - is that focus beats breadth. We hire engineers who have run real SOCs and led real incidents. We invest in certifications and tradecraft, not sales overlay. We keep our own estate under the same controls we recommend, so every conversation starts from a place of "we do this too."

Becoming part of Ensign InfoSecurity in 2022 gave us something the Australian market hadn't had before - a regional pure-play cybersecurity parent, with nine SOCs across APAC and a research lab studying the same adversaries that land in our customers' inboxes. The Australian practice stayed Australian: sovereign data, local people, local accountability.

How we work

Four things we don't compromise on.

01 · Principle

Practitioners, not slides

Every consultant, analyst and engineer has operated in security before they advised on it. No decks without hands on keyboards.

02 · Principle

Sovereign by default

Australian-owned, Australian-based, Australian-operated. Data stays in the jurisdiction unless you explicitly ask otherwise.

03 · Principle

One team, one outcome

A single named team stays with you from scoping through incident response. No vendor ping-pong at 3am.

04 · Principle

Engineered end-to-end

We own the design, the build and the run. What we recommend, we operate - and what we operate, we stand behind.

Security, engineered around you.

Talk to an engineer - not a call centre. Most Vectra conversations start with a 30-minute technical briefing and end with a written plan.
